Happy Administrative Professionals Day!
Today we’re celebrating the heart of our front office—Susan Lampkin, the incredible secretary of South Marshall Elementary!
From welcoming students with a smile to juggling phone calls, paperwork, and about a hundred other things at once, Susan keeps our school running like clockwork. Her kindness, organization, and calm presence make a difference every single day, and we are so grateful for everything she does.

Today, we’re giving a huge SHOUTOUT to the incredible bus drivers of South Marshall Elementary! These everyday heroes greet our students with a smile, keep them safe on the road, and start and end each day with kindness and care.
From early mornings, rainy days, and field trips, you do it all with patience, dedication, and heart. Our Sheriffs ride with the best!
Please join us in thanking our amazing drivers for all they do to support our students and families. Drop a comment below to share your appreciation! 👏🙌#SouthsideIsTheBestSide

It’s almost showtime!
Our 1st and 2nd grade students are ready to take the stage for their performance of Bugz the Musical! We can’t wait for you to join us and see all their hard work come to life. Check the graphic for your child’s performance date and time!
Please review the important safety reminders below to help the event run smoothly:
Do NOT park in the front loop. Parents will begin lining up for afternoon car pickup, and parking there will block traffic.
Enter through the side gymnasium door.
All guests will go through a metal detector.
To speed up entry, please leave all unnecessary items in your car. Diaper bags and medical bags are allowed but will be searched.
Doors will open no later than 1:00 PM, and the performance will begin at 1:30 PM.
If you plan to check your child out after the performance, there will be a check-out procedure in place.
We appreciate your cooperation and can’t wait to celebrate our students on stage! #SouthsideIsTheBestSide #LearningIsRequired
